Request for advance approval to utilize other government contracts

BACKGROUND:
On September 15, 2026, the Board of Supervisors provided advance approval to procure services
and/or materials utilizing other government contracts for Fiscal Year 2026/2027. The approval did
not include the government contract referenced below.
• Sourcewell Contract No. 040924 — Rental Equipment, Products, and Related Services —
This contract covers equipment rentals, service, sales, and maintenance, as well as OSHA
training, and Operator certification. These products and services are available for purchase
through a competitively solicited Sourcewell contract.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff respectfully requests the Board of Supervisors advance approval for utilization of the
Sourcewell Contract No. 040924 in Fiscal Year 2026/2027 for planned and budgeted purchases.
